…Tales of a Southern fairy, a Northern town and a life turned upside downunder.

I’m Alex. l spent the first 19 years of my life in a town called Harpenden, Hertfordshire – one of the ‘Home Counties’ in the South East of England (pip pip, toff toff, tally ho!) Then I spent 5 and a half years in Newcastle upon Tyne – ‘the Toon’ in the North East of England.  Recently I moved to Wellington, South of the North Island of New Zealand.

From the South to the North of an Island North of the Equator to the South of the North of an Island South of the Equator, this is my journal of life, loves and general inane ramblings as I think things through, vent a lot of history and figure out the future, in public, to absolute strangers…
